I found this book in a thrift store and chose it because I've read several other things by Wally Lamb, and know him to weave an involved tale. This is a nonfiction work and consists of writings by women prisoners at York Correctional Facility in Niantic, Connecticut, during a time that Lamb agreed to lead a writing workshop there. I always find it interesting to learn how a person ends up getting derailed in life.
