Question...as most romances out today have a manwhore hero I want to know where the books are with heroine being one of a manwhore' s past. Are any of those women unworthy of a HEA after being with a manwhore? Why does a manwhore get his HEA and not one of the many women he's been with?

Alex ♈ Good point, R.! I'm with you!!! I agree 1000% with you!
It's just double standarish. Plus slut-shaming in every second book! 😖😖😖

GimmeAllTheWerdssss Is the woman at fault for being "used"? How is she any less deserving?

Plus...the OW's are always always always portrayed as bitches. Does it make them a bitch just because they slept with a guy?

You are so right!!! And when I read some reviews to the books with experienced hs, they're often called sl*ts. I guess many female readers are still virgins or live in 50th...
It would be less sad if they didn't idolize manhos. Actually it's his/her business how many partners he/she had, but then they put female innocence on a pedestal and at the same time male "experience". Ugh! And so many readers find it good...
As I said in one of my reviews, I'd rather be the OW 😂, especially when I read about typical CR h - pure or celibate for the last century, forgiving and giving, brain and pride optional. Hmm, yes, def OW 😂

GimmeAllTheWerdssss I need to become an author just so I can write the opposite of typical romance..

Typical - Guy bullies girl, makes her life hell all because he secretly loves her. Girl forgives guy and get HEA

Mine - Guy bullies girl, makes her life hell because he secretly loves her. Girl has a backbone, tells bully how it is and gets HEA with his best friend!

Typical - Guy cheats on gf/wife. GF/Wife takes him back..

Mine - Guy cheats on gf/wife. GF/Wife moves on and gets HEA with OM. Guy has to see her happy with OM!

Typical - Guy and Girl are friends but she's secretly in love with him and has watched him be with multiple OW. Guy realizes he loves girl and they get HEA.

Mine - Guy and Girl are friends but she's secretly in love with him and has watched him be with multiple OW. Girl finds her own happiness with OM. Guy realizes what he lost...

It will be about all the "other women" coming together to make a manwhore's life hell because he's used and then tossed them aside!

Ali I have a question.... What does every freaking Hero have to be a mawhore??? Am I the only one that would enjoy reading about a hero that's actually really picky?!
Maybe someone can write about a picky hero and a player heroine without slut-shaming!

I would love that BUT apparently being a manwhore means the hero is extremely hot.

Personally I find it mostly disgusting simply from the fact that when the h enters the picture all the OW automatically become "thoughtless screws" or "meant nonthing". It's extremely degrading to all those OW. Plus being with a guy who's tried everything doesn't make me feel good. His prowess is not an attractive attribute when it's been earned over the course of 100s of women. Also...I have to wonder is he's really "that" good. If he's constantly only having ONS then maybe he just sucks at sex and the women don't want him for a second go...

Cyndi I love your book scenarios ReadingismyEscape! I would prefer those over the typical ones any day!

Dísir Hit the nail on the head, ReadingismyEscape. I think many authors get do have an easy way out with the 'thoughtless screws' bit by conveniently stating that both the manwhore and the OW are typically alike: both WANT meaningless sex, and don't want anything but 'casual', thus making it 'ok'. At least, that satisfies many readers, so it's an 'accepted norm'.

Julia Love all of your opinions ladies!! I'm personally still waiting on a book about an h that meets the billionaire manwhore and falls in love with his shy, personal driver/assistant and the manwhore gets to watch her be happy with someone in his eyes is lesser than him. I sometimes write my own plots for fun but my writing is terrible- still fun to imagine though!
