Status Update

Ambyr is 30% done

until about 25% there were so many twilight similarities it was almost too much to continue. now, at 30%, the path seems to be changing quite a bit. I'm enjoying the book, only finding distraction by grammar issues. great writer, though!

Here's the issue I'm having. I love the book... EXCEPT the grammar/spelling errors are causing hitches to my reading flow and then something so reminiscent of Twilight (and no, not 'oh that's similar' but almost verbatim from the book) pops up and I get... angry. The writer is good! If only these issues weren't present I would be LOVING this book.
