Yep - I've been perusing the shelves over there. Will definitely be adding to my owned-to-read list ;)
They have some good books for sale, that for sure. I love paranormal and fantasy, so this was the perfect sale for me:) They even had Ambereye by Gill McKnight for only a few dollars, which is one of my favorite paranormal books ever. I hope people can get some good reads:)
I haven't read any of the books they have. I am a big Fantasy fan, and OK with paranormal - except I am not a fan of ghost stories. I will definitely pick up Ambereye. Are there any others I shouldn't pass up?
I think something's wrong with their website. Usually you can see the regular price and sale price in the author list. And my cart isn't working right. I will drop them a line and try again later.
I'm not having any issues, so not sure. I'm able to sort by author by going to the Browse by tab. But maybe you mean sort by author of just the sales books? I don't see anything to do that. But with 3 pages of sales books its not to bad to go through them.Marilyn Nightshade is great for fantasy if you have not read it yet.
For paranormal. Witch Wolf is the first book in a series by Winter Pennington, which is one of my favorite series. The series by L.L. Raand (Radclyffe) great too. Wild by O'Brien. There is a lot of good ones for sure:)
Yeah, I meant for the sales section (you can sort for everything else, why not by author? mmphs, heh). And hadn't realized there were only three pages when I made the comment. heh.
From the Bella sale I got: Summoning Shadows by Winter Pennington - since it's the only book I haven't yet read by her, though I've been avoiding it for years. - BSB
The Consequence of Murder and Burn All Alike by Nene Adams - Bella
And from the Ylva Diversity Month sale I got:
Times of Our Lives by Jane Waterton (which had already been on my list - tried sample again right before bought - mention of a kangaroo twitching ear nearby as two women play golf . . . and I click buy, heh)
Here's the Thing by Emily O'Beirne
Couple of books added to my list. One each from three new authors (new for me). Many mor ebooks to buy, but I'll stick with sensible for now.
Betty, I hope you got some good ones. And I agree with you, I was trying to be sensible, though it was hard:)Lexxi, I enjoyed The Consequence of Murder. I have not read the second yet, but did pick it up since the first one was so good. I hope you enjoy it:) And I noticed Fletcher's books on there and even Nightshade which is pure fantasy. Not sure why people mix fantasy and paranormal up, but since they are my two favorites, I won't complain:)
@Marilyn, The Pyramid Waltz by Barbara Ann Wright (and the rest of the books in that series...there are 4) is all fantasy and is pretty good. I've only read books one and two in that series so far. Agree that Ambereye is fantastic as are books 3 & 4 of the Garoul Werewolf series (I didn't like book 1 much, though, because I didn't care for the lead).
Merry Shannon's "Sword of the Guardian" is also fantasy as are Jane Fletcher's books.
The Pyramid Waltz is a good series. I've read all four of the books, fluctuate in quality, but good series. Is also one of the few that actually has an ending. Oh, and another one that I do not see as paranormal romance. Though if the action had taken place in medieval earth, I'd think differently, but not earth so . . ..I think there are just some authors I can't read. As I read 'Ambereye' because everyone praises it, but I didn't like it.
Thanks for the tips.I picked-up the rest of the books in the Pyramid Waltz, and Also Merry Shannon's two Sword of the Guardian. I find I am a sucker for those strong guardian type characters, so I suspect I will love it. I am holding off on Jane Fletcher books because I know I have some in storage, and I don't want to double purchase.
Lexxi - I also got Times of Our Lives a few days ago... this weekend has been expensive :)
