IRL I'm a little too masc presenting to "pass as straight" yet somehow on Goodreads I am constantly getting hit on by skeevy old men!

I just wanted apologize for not being around much. After being sick, I caught a bad reading slump. I think after 6 years, with around 1600 books read/reviewed that I finally burnt out and needed a break. Luckily, I think it worked because I'm now reading again and I feel like I want to read more. I’m sorry for being behind in my reviews but I’m working on it and I look forward to catching up with all of you soon:)

The story so far is great. Only thing is the book is long! I thought The Priory of the Orange Tree was long with 850 pages this is 1350. Going to take me forever but it's so good!

I hope this gets better soon. I'm struggling! If this wasn't an ARC I would have DNF'd already.

This books is massive! While it is 652 pages, the book itself is large in size. I would guess it would be closer to 1000-1200 pages if it was a normal size paperback. I would like to finish it today, but not sure it will happen. It is excellent though. One of the best apocalyptic/survivor books I have ever read.

Am I the only one who keeps almost liking my own reviews? Why is the like button available to me? I keep seeing someone rated a book I like, so I go to like it, and it's my own damn rating. I don't remember the old GR's page having this.

Wow this is good. The scenes in the courtroom were page turners. Can't believe I waited this long to read one of Jae's books.

Jeez, only four chapters in and I'm crying already. It's a good beginning though, I'm hooked already.

Well my 71-year-old-father found my stack of Bold Strokes Books and Bella books. He said 'wow, can I read some of these?' I love my father but I'm not sure he knows what LesFic even is:) So he walked away with a copy of Jane Fletchers Rangers at Roadsend. Let's see how this goes:)

This is so good! I love Mickey and the secondary characters are great. I can't believe it took me so long to read this series.
