“Wonderful,” Stephen said sarcastically. “My team of investigators now includes a homeless man and a male model.” He pushed Doug’s hand off him. “It’s like Law & Order as performed by white trash.”

“I just think it’ll be funny,” Doug said. “Watching you try to be friendly. That would be like watching me try to like, build a spaceship.”


Stephen just shrugged in response. “It’s not hard.”


“Sure it is,” Doug argued as they descended into the station. “You need rockets and like, plutonium or something.”
