Oh gosh, I'm loving this book so much. The pacing is perfect - the plot unravels realistically. The magical element is intriguing; it's a force that is shaping the characters and their world, almost pushing it's way in gradually to be more of a presence with the absences (or disappearances) that it creates. I also like the lead, Aila, and the Shakespearean references and all the mystery that surrounds Sterling.
