Tim Elton made a cake of himself with Emma and quickly left town. Jane Fairfax has arrived, with Frank soon following and making time with Emma. The tension between Emma and Jane can be cut with a knife. I like how Austen's story is so well represented in KY horse country. I love the transition... even though I know what is coming, I am still surprised at how the author made it work.

Modern Emma: By this point, we have established the characters, what happened to her mother, and why she is taking care of her father. We are following Austen's story line. Emma's sister married a Knightley brother, and Emma has had her first success in matchmaking with Miss Taylor and Mr. Weston. His son Frank, although he missed the wedding, intends to visit.
