This book is a positive delight. Though I have not finished it, I already recommend it highly. The crafting of Sherlock and his siblings into women is expertly done, not to mention the evolution of Watson. What a stellar achievement! The angst and emotion of the cases that are being worked, the development of secondary characters- all superb!

I am thoroughly surprised at how much I'm enjoying this book. I must admit that I am usually suspect of re-visions of classics; I was a little leery of anyone who would try to re-craft Sherlock Holmes. However, Sherry Thomas is doing an excellent job. The psyche of Sherlock/Charlotte is well developed and in keeping with the original Sherlock. I appreciate that.
