F2 Eragon is ready to leave for Du Weldenvarden on his journey to defeat Galbatorix. I would probably not read another book by Christopher Paolini because his style is very lengthy; sometimes his long descriptions are refreshing and other times it's unnecessary. One time, Eragon "...plucked a tooth, a molar, from the dirt. Bouncing it from his palm..." Segments such as that add no significance to the story.

G1 - The novel picks up directly from the last book; the war is over and bodies of both soldiers and urgals cover the field. The leader of the underground society, Ajihad (a minor character), had fallen. The author makes you feel like a part of the story describing the current setting using all of the senses like smell or sight, explains ancient language used in the book, and briefly describes the world's politics.
