If one more. Sentence is just like this. Fragmented. For no sort of... reason. I don't think I'll be able to--to stomach it any longer. I also skipped more pages of unnecessary explanation. This could've been so much shorter and to the point rather than drifting off to nowhere just for the sake of world-building.

Why does Yrene all of the sudden feel smitten and bashful around Chaol? Why does she care about him all of the sudden? It came out of nowhere!!!!!!! An attraction has to come from more of him JUST being handsome?? Which, from the books before, Chaol was just a normal-looking guy, but for the book's sake, he's the most handsome man in the world with muscles???
