I would say overall not all that into this book. There is an awful lot of content that I believe is just padding - many fight scenes and a lot of world-building about the nature of various creatures and where they come from.

At about 66% the story line is finally coming together. I can see how the set-up was necessary to get to this point, but I do think it was belabored.

Well...11% in and we've had a graphic rape scene and two brutal murders that included genital mutilation/rape. Hope the book isn't all like this...
