what a creep! he's talking about not giving up his pursuit of the chick's heart. but he sounds like a freaking rapist. Like, she's told him no several times and to go away but he is persistent and recently grabbed her and shoved his tongue down her throat. It's growing increasingly harder to like him any at all.

I am having issues getting into this book because I really really dislike the characters.
Carly's dad just died and this fool going to say, "that jackass stood in our way long enough and he ain't around now to stop us from being happy."
