I'm glad I decided to give this book a try, it's got plenty of twists and turns in it. Violent, humorous and intriguing, this is a good Grimdark read, one of the best stand-alone fantasies I've read in a long time. (So far).

This is a darkly humorous book. I'll confess that I cringed during some of the violence, but at the end of chapter 1, I laughed out loud. I really hope it continues in this vein, I enjoy a good laugh!

Getting more absorbed with the storyline now. Things are still just as violent and the humour is still there too! Great!
