There is so much to like about this book, but I didn't love it. I got the feeling that the author meant to write a slow burn historical romance with lots of story, but unfortunately, at least for me, the main relationship didn't have a lot of chemistry and the mystery is mostly solved so I'm just waiting for the characters to catch up. I'm marking it as read because I think this will end up being a DNF.
