I really loathe this author's condescension and seemingly lack of knowledge of what depression actually is.
I also don't appreciate the marijuana brownie anecdote, or the way he describes young girls in terms of their looks.
It seems that this man thinks that a woman's sole purpose is to get married and have children.
And that 15 year olds think "it's a sweet deal" to live with their parents for free.

Really not feeling this passage about depression. Depression is a mental illness...arrogance is being an asshole There is a huge difference.

This is toxic, and makes people think that they can just tell depressed people that they need to let people in...think themselves well. That's not how this works.
