The first 30 pages of this book were the straw that broke the camel's back for me - I decided it was time to stop believing in divine predestination and guidance and start believing that everything that happens (and has happened) to me is either a consequence or a coincidence. I'm not especially thrilled, I have yet to see whether this works better for me or not.
