I'm reading this book again, and I read my previous comments and thoughts as I was reading it. I continue to find so much truth in these pages. Douglas Rushkoff did a genius work on this thesis.
'Culture' that is the opportune word. A culture of elites has created a culture of wannabe elites. The latter who think they have some hope to be influential to some better end, all the while being herded like cattle.

Nearly a decade ago I had committed to practice so many techniques like these; and they were effective towards the results that I had set for. I say that with a certain shame however. I was fooled, bamboozled into believing that the methods that I had learned were harmless, that my end goal for myself, though valuable primarily for me, would not hurt others.
