So men have always believed their respect lies in their earnings & not how they treat the women in their lives? How then, can there ever be hope that they treat women with respect? Clearly money & worldly possessions are what they procure respect from women with. & those women, who take this as currency for the respect they are evidently selling. I wish they would reconsider. For the sake of all women & future women.

Having read To my children's children, I find I beginning of Forced to grow winded and dejavuesque. I was thinking that it would keep the pace established in the former. I hope chapter 3 will start picking up.
