Just read a line that he took a drink of coffee and then spit out the cold, bitter liquid. I swear that same line was used about 50 pages back. I'm too lazy to check but that is a pet peeve.

How is this book? I got it as a freebie last week and it looked interesting.

It is okay. I wanted to read something a little different so I picked this one randomly. I'm thinking it will be 2.5-3 stars for me depending on the last 30%. It is a fairly easy read and has no vampires, angels or insta-love/love triangles. Just real people trying to solve a problem.
Sometimes you need a book like that.
