I have noticed similarities between the UK & the US. One of Paul’s old friends, and he constantly complained about how the UK “is going to the dogs.” This friend mentioned “the Welfare State”, immigrants, and unemployment, and how “prisons = holiday camps.” He was prejudiced about all of these. There are some in the US who would agree with him.
