Oof. I don't think I've ever muttered "asshole" at a character quite so many times in so few pages... Assholery is a perfectly acceptable character trait of course, but I'm concerned I'm supposed to find him impressive, and even more concerned that he's going to become our romantic lead. Color me dubious.
