I liked the first chapter on integrity, a trait I very much admire. Chapter 2 was interesting and gave me a perspective on dress. Until recently, I was among those who believed in dressing in a suit for church, although I've been experimenting with dressing down slightly lately. I like this perspective better.

I loved the chapter on Mercy, but the investment and humility chapters seemed a little warmed over, offering little in the way of interesting insight. Mercy was interesting, though.

The chapter on tolerance was good, but I am left with questions - we are supposed to be tolerant of sin in unsaved people, but not tolerant of sin in Christians? (page 87)

Read the chapter on Grace, which I really liked. I always favored the Gospel of Luke, and part of that favor is its emphasis on doing good works toward the poor, foreigners, and the oppressed. These are things that I can see, not a divine grace that I can't. I can't tell if someone is saved by looking at them, but by their works I can know them. Are they kind? Are they gracious to foreigners and the poor?
