I'm tempted to stop reading here and just say the rest of the book is Boris somehow showing up again and it becoming about this shady, antique furniture con man and his scary, strung out, Ukrainian boyfriend terrorizing the underbelly of the New York city art world. And nothing else happens. that's the whole story. The end.

This is like The Secret History all over again. This book is giving me some kind of existential anxiety and it's not even trying to do that.

Right before I started reading this, I read that Finn Wolfhard got cast to play young Boris in the movie adaptation, so all I'm picturing is Finn Wolfhard doing an accent
