I am currently on page 50 of this new book. A minor character is Hayley Wickenheiser. She is mentioned when the book talk she about making it into professional hockey. She is a center, five-time Olympian, team captain of Canada’s women’s national team. The author included her into the story to say that making it to professional hockey takes perseverance and good work ethic to make it and she had it in her.

Also read 26 pages of Mr. Hockey: My Story. This story was told in 3rd person limited. All the characters are talked about by their name and it tells their stories but also gives detail on what they are thinking. My other book I started is a 1st person about Gordie Howe. Gordie Howe narrates the story about him self. He says “I” and “my” in a lot of the story about him self.

There isn’t no archetype of a setting in my book because it is just stories around the player and what’s it takes to be tough and be in the nhl. The setting is just where ever the player is when they are talking about him or her. Most of the time it is at the rink or training to be better. There is no meaning of the ice rink it is just where they are. I could relate the book to my self because I played hurt and sick.

There is no character archetype for my book so I will do one for to kill a mockingbird. Atticus Finch’s archetype is the hero. He stands up against almost all people in his community and how they are racist. Atticus stands up for Tom Robinson and does his case where no one else would. This shows he is the hero because he stands up for what he thinks is the right thing to do not what most other people around him say.

The audience for my book is any person that plays hockey and is looking to find what things they can do to make it to the nhl. The author wants these sort of people to read this so that it can inspire them and tell them what it takes to be strong. The audience for this book is around teenagers because they don’t expect college level players to read this because they already made it this far.Its for learning players.
