Alternate History. In this path the Dec 7th 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor was just a bit different than how it really went. In this one, the Japanese attack hit the fuel storage for the US Fleet. With no fuel closer than San Francisco, the Pacific ocean is wide open for the Imperial Japanese Navy. There is no battle of coral sea, New Guinea falls, and Japan lands troops on Austraial's northern shore.
