I don’t know. I’m struggling to get through this one. I feel bad because I won a free copy and the author seems really nice (on Instagram) but I just don’t feel a desperate urge to finish it. And I think at this point in the novel I should.

I want to like this I truly do, but it just feels busy to me. I don’t mind complicated plots but as of right now it just feels messy. Maybe I’ll feel different when I finish.

What was the point of the princess school if it ended up playing such a small part of the plot as of right now. I just wish the plot and storyline was a little less cluttered, I think that would also help the pacing issues I’m having.

I’m feeling conflicted. I don’t know if it’s just me not seeing the “big picture” but all the subplots aren’t really meshing for me.
