I really like the setting so far (1870s Yucatan area).
Characters seem to be all very flawed, but just when I'm ready for outright dislike, they get a bit redeemed.

Ideally, I should've tried for a more colorful image... but I guess I'll have to check out Mexican telenovelas for that. :P
