This is so awkwardly written. Had to re-read a few sentences to make sense.
And these people are incredibly stupid!
4 police, a farmer, and two others - hear a shot, asserting man and gun in shed - are 'amazed' at body falling over threshold. Not one mentions danger of armed man, not one is concerned over his well being - nope they're all 'amazed' ....I wasn't.
