I loved yesterday's poem - "'Hope' is the Thing with Feathers" by Emily Dickinson. I first read it when I was 17 and it is easily one of my favourite poems.
Today's poem is called "Knocks on the Door" by Maram al-Massri (translated by Khaled Mattawa) and I really liked that one too.

I'm wondering why some of these poems were chosen when they don't relate to the date... but the poems have been pleasant so far.

I'm going to try to read this every day... today's poem was weird but yesterdays poem was wonderful... it was called New Every Morning by Susan Coolidge.
