do we ever learn more about the faerie world or are we just supposed to guess? so far there’s barely any world building at all... and how exactly did jude learn to speak/read english? this make no sense to me.

so he’s the king’s main general or something and supposedly an amazing strategist, yet he’s been blind to jude’s beef with the prince and co for all these years although it’s been happening out there in plain sight? how...... capable of him. amazing observation skills.

because im basic and intrigued by the hype. (and have encountered holly black’s stuff in the past and it went Fine.)

so far it’s just okay-ish bordering on meh though.
