Once again, as with the first in this series, I am stunned at the richness in description and the depth of the many characters. How Penny is able to do this without losing me is, in itself, a mystery. I find myself thrilled to be back in Three Pines, even if it is because of a murder--and I hope the guilty party isn't one of the main characters.
