Getting ready to start chapter 10 and I could swear I've read this book before.. Even though as far as I know, I haven't. Very intriguing, as always. Seems like there is a battle of wills going in between two Shapeshifters, a Vampire is actually in a relationship with a Trieste (which is amazing in itself), and the vampire seems to have killed two of one of the Shapeshifters family members. Quite a lot in 88 pages

I'm 30% through it and it's starting to get really good. So far I can tell how SK got his reputation as a master story teller.. He expresses things so perfectly that you have no problem believing what is going on in the books. He plays out the smallest detail of the small things that have scared us since childhood and a lot of which still scare us now that we think we've outgrown.
