Taleb's observations and writing are both excellent! His critique of 'reason' is particularly pertinent and very important. As mentioned, it is synchronistically and strongly connected to Jordan Peterson's lecture series "Maps of Knowledge", which also critiques what we think we know. And I smiled when he argued the importance of not reading the news because it is a major source of bafflement by the known.

Wow! Such an important book. And, in a rather magical synchronicity, it complements the Jordon Peterson lecture I'm listening to, called "Maps of Knowledge". Each of them are complementing the ideas of the other's. I see myself reading it a second time more slowly.
