Left me a bit cold this one. Enjoyed it overall but couldn't help thinking 'ok, ok, how about just getting over it now'! Also Vickers has habit of going into excessive detail at times, doesn't add anything much to the story or it's telling, just makes it a bit clumsy. Worth reading but definitely not unmissable.
