Well, even after giving the first book a 2 star review, the concept and cover art drew me back in so I attempted this second book. The main is still unlikable (though not nearly as much as in the first book, she's just brusque and unapologetic instead of being mean spirited and selfish) and the story seems good but there was too much added for salacious 'gotcha' moments by the author, not needed as part of the story.
