I knew I liked Jake.
Internal monologues:
**In some logical, rational part of himself, his brain tried to explain to his primitive animal side that nobody had to die just because ....**

Ok -- her reaction to the dick measuring contest was appropriate. Plus at least Jake knows for sure how she feels in regards to the bigots -- so we don't have to hear THAT internal monologue.

Well hopefully the goofball persona vs. all people are untrustworthy crud is explained soon? It's weird -- the dichotomy between his internal & external dialogue.

Unlike that split personality guy on the 7 -- that made sense. So far Jake isn't.

True -- clichés are clichés for a reason.
Not too thrilled with the gadabout female lead -- but at least she had scruples.
