My only problem with this plot ... genocide isn't War. It's a war CRIME.🤬😠😡

Had to pause for long weekend, 😤😡😠 the way her "vine" (they don't qualify to be considered family) even the quasi decent hard ass boss -- treat her makes me so angry.

2 twists I didn't expect 😳 😅 the 2nd was so CLEVER!
Now a 3rd at 95% , this chapter may keep me to book 2 at least.

Not a fan of the opening that then flashes back to 5 days prior... Also seems a bit grittier ala 90s urban fantasy than my current mood desires ... let's see if I can skim through and finish 🤔

I 🤔 I remember why I stalled out on this series but kept going on Psy-Changeling ... this gets so grim and brutal.
I mean you'd think the Psy Council & impending collapse of psy bio link would be equivalent but ... nope.

Not a fan of the author plopping a pov chapter out of nowhere that won't directly tie in to our lead for multiple chapters. I'm fine with that being off screen.

Hoped that was only book 1, but just bounced off the first switch in book 2, 8 chapters in.

Tbh I am totally skipping all of Nicky's entries. It confusing as to how it connects to the overall plot, plus I do NOT need to give head-space to being locked in a looney bin and experimented on.

Looks like Blood Magic series came first, so it WAS a cameo. But sticking with the Green Witch for now.

Gah this last book. Enough with the "what about the others" wailing. Dude, just because you escaped being one of those Franc preyed on due to your rebirth quirk.... the made the deal. The fact they die with him, is sad but they would've self imploded long before had Franc not taken them.
