Sadly, I am not very impressed so far with Witchblade's new direction. The new art is too cartoonish for the dark stories, and it is a major turnoff. The fleshy pseudo-Wotchblade meets Fountain of Youth is an interesting concept, I just wish I could take this one more seriously. Finding the right artist is critical, and this just feels like a serious and off-putting misfire.
