Reading a few reviews - there was so much opportunity to dive into other issues and relationships between already established characters. But all that page space is wasted on nothing.

Again the hate for Havers. I don’t know why Ward has such a beef with him, but he always gets treated so badly. His suggestion was valid - Jane and V getting all holier than thou about it just makes me roll my eyes so damn hard.

And once again Ward can’t keep physical characteristics straight. When Butch transitioned it was noted he was taller than V. Now in this book V is taller than Butch.

Assail’s speech pattern is throwing me off completely. It is so different than what it was in the previous books. I really wish Ward was more consistent with her characters. Just like Payne - her speech pattern completely changed from one book to the next. Annoys the hell out of me.
