This book is less novel than dialectic. I had started it years ago and put it back on the nightstand when I moved into this house 18 months ago. Last week, it fell off the shelf onto the floor so I decided to pick it up again, and this time, I am receptive to its messages. Isn’t that always the case with Coehlo’s works? They seem to come to you instead of the other way around.
