The (I believe?) second or third story in the collection left me LOLingn so hard, I got a tummy ache. Heed the author's warnings; the heroine is everything you're told to expect... and worse. She is meany to be the cocky one, I guess, but the author kdeliberately) turned her into a caricature of selfish entitlement. It was hilarious.
The next one was pretty sweet.

I am enjoying this FAR more than I expected!
Since I'm not a fan of "cocky" men in romance novels (and I have pretty much hated any male character described as "alpha"), I expected to be gritting my teeth as I read for the cause. Instead, I'm actually alternating between grinning and gasping and even getting a little teary-eyed. Who'd have guessed?
