I get the feeling I'm going to wind up DNFing this. And I hate even entertaining the thought because I won it in a giveaway that I willingly entered because it sounded a bit quirky, and quirky horror (at least the good variety) is hard to find.

But at 24 pages in, I've read that the 34-year-old protagonist has already accrued 8 years of paid leave from her job, and I desperately need her to hook me up at her agency.
