Meltdowns have consequences and as we become less connected to what is happening via remote sensors etc we become more vulrenable to mistakes.

An interesting read about complexity and the problems it can create. In the "Analogue Age" you could look, touch and see what was happening. Unfortunately in the "Digital Age" we depend on information far removed from our senses and susceptible to error or misinterpretation.
