So far, this book is fantastic (an amazing first novel by Daniel Suarez). As an IT professional, the tech written about in the book is about as realistic as you can get (usually a big gripe when I read or watch any show or book and there's some weird IT stuff). Can't speak to the FBI or police procedures, but they don't seem laughable. Only a couple minor nits not worth mentioning.
