Why do authors insist on using current pop culture references? Sure the "iPhone" reference still holds up, but the "High School Musical" one dated this book immediately. Oh well, guess I'll just imagine it's 2010.

This is a fun read, but I'm getting a little tired of the author's descriptions of non white characters. Not loving that the person working baggage claim was just "an NBA sized black guy" or the concierge was simply a "large black woman" when the stewardess was a "sturdy, blond woman in her fifties" with a Southern accent. The Stewardess got to be a person not just a color...

So far this book reminds me of a really good Lifetime original movie, and coming from me, that is a very high compliment. It's almost therapeutic how easy and fun it is to read this.
