I really don’t like the heroine. She’s been a selfish asshole for the most part. There has been a lot of useless inner monologues and pointless explanations. Overall, this book is just filled with a lot of repetitive filler without a lot of substance. I’ve been forcing myself to continue. At this point, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to finish. Taking a break.
