I can say not only is this the best issue of EQMM I can ever remember reading, it is one of the best collections of short stories, period. It is not that I don’t cry, but I find I do not cry as much with stories these days and that _did_ happen with “Sofee” by David Dean, a man who captures children beautifully in a way very few adult writers can...a lovely, sad, scary, unforgettable story <3

The very first story in here ("Health and Safety" by Liza Cody) is just amazing and reminds me of why I loved EQMM so much when I was younger and collected every issue rather fervently. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the issue.
