I don't think that the concept of a "pure race" developed in central Europe like he says here. You could say that it is odd that it held ground there but I don't think that this is where it originated.

Boy, the Simon Wiesenthal Center should thank the Nazis in Charlottesville, in the years before the first place on their ten worst antisemites was filled with people doing really minor things. Actually, this years list has only a few "severe" cases, on the letter places they have stuff like two jews being rejected from a dyke march, for whatever reason.

The author's constant talk about Spain and the Muslim world is annoying and now this is becoming intolerable. Does he never consider that Finnish and most Bulgarian Jews also survived and that Turkish ones did because Turkey was not allied or invaded by the Axis and the Nazis did not want to jeopardize diplomatic relationships and Turkey would not have done it because then the passport would be worthless?

Oh, he read that polemic book I read two years or so ago as well, and he suspects it was from the Israeli propaganda ministry… yeah, that could fit as it really was quite propagandistic.

I don't think he got all historical details right and I think he romanticized the Islamic empires, after all they had the death penalty for apostacy, but his information to Carl the Great and his statements towards philosemites are interesting and the latter really funny. He prefers honest antisemites to dishonest philosemites.
