This may be the best sequel I've ever read. It is rare, I think, for a book that follows a couple after their Happily Ever After to not delve into tons of melodrama in order to shake things up. Though Catherine and Lauren do face outside obstacles there is a refreshing lack of soap opera-ish "let's break them up to put them back together again" plot devices. Other pluses: genuine mystery and secondary characters.
